this little adventure: honeymoooooooon

Our honeymoon was beautiful, probably will be our best trip ever. I think just being married, having the stress of the wedding behind us, to be able to focus on us -- we just needed it. Every little thing we did was so fun because we did it together.

One of our favorite things was just driving the jeep around, music on, windows down, feeling the breeze. The jeep was definitely Dan's favorite part of the trip.

Things I don't want to forget from this trip:

-- Me being frightened the entire time we were snorkeling and Dan just going further and further out

-- Our fancy dinner where we got dressed up and spent a bunch of money on a meal at Hukilau Lanai and we were just so dang happy

-- The feeling of pure peace the entire trip

-- Thinking we might be pregnant and talking about life with kids and how we can still do all of our fun adventures with them! (little did we know then that we'd be going on an infertility journey throughout the whole next year)

-- Our scary hike down to Wailua Falls thinking we weren't going to make it!

-- The yummiest fish and chips at Kalypso! We were drooling over them!

-- So.much.shaved ice. AND acai bowls!! So dang yummy.

-- Our favorite little place Hamura's Saimin (we had to go twice because it was so good)

-- Our cozy little condo with no AC

-- Dan's little steak dinner he made us one night and ate out on the deck

-- Dan making us a bed on the deck one night where we ended up sleeping half the night!

-- Our AMAZING helicopter ride. I was on top of the world during that! Those are the moments I live for.

-- Finding the coolest beach Polihale and watching the sunset (basically just us!)

-- Our one little fight during the trip where we were just exhausted and Dan laughed at my frizzy hair so I told him not to look at me (so he stared at the wall behind me hahahah)

-- The beautiful hike Okolehao trail, where we could see 1/5 of the island from! Amazing!
